Rest in Prayer While Waiting for Your Deliverance

“I advise, drop a prayer over your problems then sit back and wait on your Lord for his healing, provision, deliverance and renewal.”

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

We’re living in a universally unprecedented time of difficulty. The Covid-19 pandemic has taken many lives and destroyed countless livelihoods. Difficulties are a certainty of life. What to do when the devil levels his worst at you? Perhaps this old woodsman’s advice is sound: “When catching a porcupine watch for the slapping tail as you dash in and drop a large washtub over him. The washtub will give you something to sit on while you ponder your next move.”

Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” He also taught us to pray, “Do not lead us into hard testing, but keep us safe from the Evil One,” and he said, “Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

If you have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, let me assure you, from scripture, that you do not this all alone; He is in the furnace with you. It could be you’ve suffered other difficulties of late that have left you emotionally destitute and in despair. If so then I advise, drop a prayer over your problems then sit back and wait on your Lord for His healing, provision, deliverance and renewal. Remember, God’s ways are not our ways and His ways are best. Japanese prisoner of war Jacob De Shazer said, “I knew that God’s way will work no matter what the circumstances.”

God-tracking is resting in prayer while you wait for your deliverance.

PRAY
I cover this “porcupine” in prayer and rest in the knowledge that you are in control

“Dear Lord, I am facing some major issues at the moment. I’m finding it so difficult to carry on with life. I don’t know how to contain these problems except by prayer, So, O holy God of the impossible, I present all my needs to you in the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus that you promised to never forsake me. I believe you have overcome these issues, already. So, I commit all my needs to you; I cast my cares on you because you care for me. I cover this “porcupine” in prayer and rest in the knowledge that you are in control. Amen.”
